I believe that with a little help everyone can consume more responsibly. In 2019, just before the pandemic, I left my job in commercial interior design to begin a new career as a zero waste shop owner. I restored a run-down but lovely building at 518 Holloway Road, worked with Weyify to create an app to make shopping at Kilo fast and easy, and opened in August 2020.

Today we source and sell products in bulk or without disposable packaging and, where possible, they come from local producers or fair-trade suppliers. In order to make the biggest change possible we have expanded into supporting businesses reduce their waste! I am excited to supply businesses with snacks, cereals, etc. in zero-waste packaging so we can have an even bigger imact than we already do!
